“Being right on the seafront at Drymades Beach usually lowers my expectations a little, as places in prime locations often rely more on the view than the food. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case. We stopped here for lunch and immediately loved the atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is full of antique furniture and vintage touches, making it feel very different from the modern beach clubs nearby. It’s a really pleasant place to sit and relax. The service was friendly and the food was average rather than exceptional, but the setting and overall atmosphere more than made up for it. “Noli’s has easily been the standout restaurant of my vacation. For this location, I honestly don’t think the food can be beaten for the price. Fish is one of those proteins where the quality can vary tremendously, it can be either the best or the worst thing you eat, and the fish here has been exceptional every single time. I normally make a point of trying different restaurants while on vacation, but Noli’s had me coming back after the very first day. That’s about as strong a recommendation as I can give. Beyond the food, Noli’s brings a genuine, welcoming atmosphere to what can otherwise feel like a somewhat superficial beachfront area. The music and decor create a warm, authentic, homey vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff truly make the experience special as well. Sergio and Riku were incredibly friendly, remembered me when I returned, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. It’s also worth noting that the owners have clearly listened to customer feedback; they now accept card payments, making an already great experience even more convenient. If you’re in the area, Noli’s is absolutely worth a visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
