Beaches
Dhërmi and Drymades are the most famous, but several smaller coves dot the coastline. Gjipe, south of Dhërmi, is one of the Riviera's most beautiful beaches and requires about a thirty-minute walk from the nearest parking or a boat trip.

Albanian Riviera
White beaches, turquoise waters, and a village on the hillside
For many, Dhërmi embodies the Albanian Riviera: brilliant white pebble beaches, crystal-clear water, and towering mountains that plunge straight into the Ionian Sea. The old village climbs the slope with stone houses and small churches, while the beach area below serves as the Riviera's summer hub.
You arrive here after the dramatic descent from Llogara Pass, and from the road, you can already see how the coast opens up into a long series of coves.
A long, bright beach with beach clubs, restaurants, and some of the Riviera's liveliest summer entertainment.
The neighboring beach with pine forests extending right to the water's edge – slightly calmer and perfect for long days of swimming.
A secluded beach at the mouth of a deep canyon, reached on foot or by boat.
Stone houses, alleys, and churches on the hillside with expansive sea views.
Dhërmi and Drymades are the most famous, but several smaller coves dot the coastline. Gjipe, south of Dhërmi, is one of the Riviera's most beautiful beaches and requires about a thirty-minute walk from the nearest parking or a boat trip.
Hike in the old village, drive up to Llogara Pass for views and cooler air, or take a boat trip along the coast to caves and coves inaccessible by road. Dhërmi is also a popular spot for paragliding from the mountains above.
In summer, especially July and August, Dhërmi is the Riviera's party hub with beach clubs and events. During the pre and post-season, the pace is significantly calmer, and many establishments have limited opening hours.
Primarily fine, bright pebbles and gravel, which contributes to the crystal-clear water. Water shoes can be comfortable.
Either on foot from the parking above the beach, about a 30-minute walk, or by boat from Dhërmi and nearby beaches.
