Ksamil

Clear water and small islands – the Riviera's most famous view

Ksamil is the postcard image of Albania: small wooded islands in shallow, turquoise water just a few strokes from the beach. The village is situated on a narrow peninsula south of Sarandë, within Butrint National Park, with Corfu clearly visible across the strait.

What was not long ago a small fishing village has become one of the Riviera's most sought-after locations. This makes planning essential – the right time of year and the right beach make a big difference.

FAQ

Is Ksamil very crowded?+

In July and August, the beaches can be very full. The pre- and post-season are significantly calmer, and early mornings are best year-round.
